Can someone please tell me, in English, in what situation "ik" comes after the verb?
I thought the subject comes after the verb only when it is a question, but the other day I said to my teacher "Morgen ik kom niet" and she said "het is 'Morgen kom ik niet' ". Since then I have actively looked and have seen the subject (ik, hij, etc) after the verb sometimes. I can not figure out the pattern.
My Dutch is still quite low so when she tried to explain it to me I didn't understand.
Thank you!
